Me and my boyfriend have been dating for a while now. Almost six months. We've talked about it and stuff. I really want to have sex with him, i just feel really insecure. How do i know when i'm ready? And when will i stop feeling so insecure?How do i know if i'm ready to have sex with my boyfriend?

If you have to ask strangers on the internet how to know when you're ready, then you're not ready. When you're ready, you will know. When you can have a frank talk with him about birth control and past partners and STDs, you'll be ready. When you can obtain said birth control and use it every single time, no exceptions, then you are ready.
The fact that you have to ask proves that you arent ready. Just tell him that you want to wait to sleep with him, but always be sure that you are prepared when that time comes. When youre ready to have sex with him you wont have any doubts and when youre actually sleeping with him you wont have any worries. You want your first time with him to be comfortable, not stressed.

you should both be able to be naked in front of each other without feeling embarrassed or insecure. make sure you are comfortable talking about everything. sex can be awkward (especially the first few times) and it is really important that you can communicate what feels good or bad. when you are completely comfortable with your boyfriend in this way, you can relax and enjoy sex without worrying about what you look like or if you're ';doing it right.'; sex is an amazing thing that can bring a couple together if they are truly ready for it.
