How do I tell him I love him?

I have been with my boyfriend for a little over three months and well... i think i love him. He means so much to me and i've never felt the same about anyone else. But the thing is, me and him have had conversations about how it is our for the both of us to open up to anyone. So, how do i open up to tell him that i love him if i know he wouldn't be able to open up too? And how do i know that he feels the same way? I need help!How do I tell him I love him?
